Character Sheets In Havn County
Character Sheets & Supernatural Characters
Character sheets are completely optional for normal human characters in TCG’s Havn County. Roleplay itself is optional, and you are more than welcome to simply create a character, explore the county, and enjoy the world without ever submitting a character sheet.
That said, character sheets can be a wonderful way to give your character a little more depth. They can help you think through who your character is, where they came from, what motivates them, and how they might fit into Havn County. If you are new to roleplay or simply aren’t sure where to begin, please feel free to reach out to a member of staff. We are happy to help you develop an idea.
Supernatural characters are the exception. If you would like to play a supernatural character or receive access to supernatural abilities, you must submit a character sheet for staff approval. This gives us enough information to understand your character, the abilities you are requesting, and how those abilities fit into the world.
Character applications are submitted through our Discord, so the template below has been formatted specifically to copy and paste cleanly into Discord. You are not required to use our exact template. Feel free to organize or personalize your application however you like, as long as you include all of the information requested.
We do ask that applications be reasonably organized and easy to read. Applications that are incomplete, difficult to follow, or submitted as very large walls of text may take longer for staff to review and approve.
Above all, don’t be intimidated by the character sheet. We’re looking for enough information to understand your character—not a novel. And character sheets can and will evolve over time. You are welcome to access and update your character sheets any time. WIP tags are always welcome as well.
CHARACTER SHEET TEMPLATE

(Bold your character’s display name at the top. This is how others will recognize you in RP. You can add an image at the top if you’d like. Its highly recommended to post the image as the first post in your character sheet thread.)

(Your character’s full legal or given name.)
**Age:**
(Current age of your character in years.)
**Birthdate:**
(Optional. Useful for flavor or story hooks.)
**Birthplace:**
(City, town, region, or general origin.)
**Sex:**
(How your character presents physically. If you have preferred pronouns, add them here)
**Orientation:**
(Optional. Only include if relevant to RP.)
**Status:**
(Single, married, widowed, complicated, etc.)
**Species:**
(Human, supernatural type, or other, if applicable.)
**Residence:**
(Where your character lives or primarily stays.)
**Occupation:**
(List one or more jobs, trades, or roles your character fills.)
**PO Box:**
(Optional. Useful for letters, deliveries, or IC correspondence.)
**DM Status:**
(Let others know if they may contact you OOC for RP, questions, or hooks.)
** Appearance**
(Describe what people see. Focus on build, movement, clothing style, notable features, and overall presence. This section is about impression, not perfection. Also describe alternate forms or supernatural appearances if applicable)
** Personality Overview**
(A short but meaningful summary of how your character generally thinks, feels, and behaves.)
** Strengths**
(List skills, talents, or traits your character excels at.)
** Weaknesses**
(List fears, limitations, flaws, or struggles. Weaknesses are story fuel.)
** Current Status**
(A snapshot of where your character is in their story right now.)
** Likes**
(What quirky things does your PC like? This helps flesh out a PC better.)
** Dislikes**
(Does your pc have any pet peeves? Do they hate something? List it!)
** RP Hooks**
(Story openings others can use to connect with your character. Mysteries, rumors, habits, unresolved past events, or open-ended situations work well.)
** Connections / Known Associates**
(Optional. List established relationships with other characters, NPCs, factions, or locations. This section may grow over time as RP develops.)
** OOC Note**
(Optional. Share RP comfort level, preferences, pacing, and openness to plots or collaboration.)
